Saturday afternoon at the Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace, MD, Lisa & Josh said “I do”, kissed, and became husband & wife! One of our favorite officiants, Natalie Tyler of Weddings Quick and Sweet walked the happy couple through their vows in front of about 90 guests at the Vandiver’s outdoor ceremony space before everyone moved to the Mansion House for cocktails. After some drinks and socializing, the Vandiver Staff invited Lisa & Josh’s families and friends out to the Inn’s outdoor, climate controlled pavilion for the reception. DJ Frank Marsden formally introduced parents into the reception while playing “Beautiful Day” by U2, the Bridal Party to “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors, and “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars for Mr. & Mrs. Nolen. After they were intruded, Lisa & Josh danced their first dance to “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton and then the Groom’s friend, David had everyone raise their glass of champagne and made a toast to the newlyweds. After dinner, Lisa and her Father shared a dance to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw, Josh and his Mother danced to “A Song for Mama” by Boyz II Men, and then the celebration continued. Songs by artists like ABBA, Kenny Loggins, Outkast, Sister Sledge, Luke Bryan were requested, played and turned the evening into a fun little dance party. The newlyweds cut their cake while “Cake By The Ocean” by DNCE was played, a little more partying happened, and then we wrapped up a wonderful afternoon/evening with a last dance to “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers. DJ Frank absolutely loved playing at the Vandiver! Their staff, food, vibe are all awesome and working along side the folks with Darrel McDavid Photography is always a nice bonus. Congratulation to the new Mr. & Mrs. Nolen!
