Bohemia River Overlook in North East, MD is a beautiful wedding destination. Nestled along the Elk River, the venue features three different locations to have a wedding & reception. Maddi & Chris selected the Manor’s back yard that featured a panoramic view of the river for their ceremony. Our own Simmone Marsden was their officiant and the ceremony included an instrumental version of John Legend’s “All Of Me” and a recessional to “God Your Mama and Me” by Florida Georgia Line feat. Backstreet Boys. Following the ceremony, guests moved over to the Manor’s reflective pool and fountain area for cocktails before finding their seats under the tented veranda. The Parents of the Bride & Groom and the Bridal Party were introduced by DJ Frank Marsden into the reception to various songs selected by the newlyweds and then the new Mr. & Mrs. Hunton made their grand entrance to “Up In Here” by DMX. Their first dance was next and it was to “Yours” by Russel Dickerson. A full on amazing buffet meal followed with a yummy spread put out by Rouge Catering. After the last table made their way though the buffet and found their seats, Maddi and her Father danced to “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman and Chris danced with his Mother to T. Carter Music’s “A Mother’s Song”. The Rolling Stones’s “Start Me Up” opened up the party and then songs by artists like Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock, Chris Brown, Cher, Depeche Mode, Kiss, and more kept a huge dance floor full for 3 hours straight. The Hunton’s cut their cake to Jack Johnson’s “Better Together”, the Bride tossed her bouquet to the single ladies while Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” was played, and Chris removed his wife’s garter to “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard. The celebration wrapped up just before 10 pm with “Closing Time” by Semisonic. We absolutely loved working with Maddi & Chris and wish them a lifetime of love, adventure, and good tunes!
