Last night’s wedding + reception was a wonderful as the couple who got married! Heather & Joe became husband and wife at the Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House in Baltimore and then celebrated their love. As the temperatures began to drop, guests made their way inside the Mansion House for the ceremony that was officiated by the Bride’s Stepfather. The processional song for the entire Bridal Party was Daniel Jang’s version of John Legend’s “All of Me”. Vows were exchanged and sealed with a kiss, Heather & Joe were formally introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Poole and then they recessed to Toploader’s cover of “Dancing In The Moonlight”. Guests then mingled along with the Bridal Party and also had the opportunity to meet some of the Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors while enjoying cocktails and appetizers. Later on, after everyone made their way to their seats, Parents and the Bridal Party were introduced and made a grand entrance to “Take A Walk” by Passion Pit followed by Heather & Joe’s entrance to “My Chick Bad” by Ludacris feat. Nicki Minaj. The newlyweds danced to “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King for their first dance, Joe and his Mother then shared a dance to “Thank You Mom” by Good Charlotte, and then Heather and her Mother danced together to Rascal Flatt’s “My Wish”. Just before dinner service began the cake was cut and toasts were made by the Maid of Honor and Best Man. The celebration and dancing began soon after with “Hey Ya” by Outkast starting it off. Songs by California Swag District, Bruno Mars, Post Malone, Justin Timberlake, The Weeknd, and many more kept the dancers jamming throughout the evening. As the final hour of the party started, the Bride tossed her bouquet of flowers to the single ladies and of course we played “Single Ladies” by Beyonce. Ginuwine’s “Pony” was Joe’s song choice as he removed his wife’s garter! We were honored to have our DJ, DJ Frank Marsden spinning tunes for Mr. & Mrs. Poole last night. Thanks to the crew at the Zoo, Atlantic Catering, and Robbie with Bayline Studios Photography, LLC for being a part of the team.
